Shot over the coarse of two nights on location in Pasadena, California. Production required the cast and crew to work from sun down till sun up to make sure the noir look was never interrupted by unwanted sunlight seeping into the shot.
The final sound mix was done at Skywalker Sound in Marin County, in addition to recording a live brass section to round out the orchestral score composed by Jermaine Stegall.
